To our beloved customers, friends & fellow fans,

To our beloved customers, friends & fellow fans,

We would like to take time to address some of the customer concerns we have recently received, as we value your feedback and your business. Due to recent changes in our administration, we have experienced shipping delays with some of our products. We understand your frustration, and appreciate your efforts to bring these concerns to our attention.

As you may know, our team has been engaged in a lawsuit to protect the company’s ethical interests for several months now. Most of the delays we have been experiencing are directly connected to this endeavor, and based on our standards of transparency, we at Phoenix Rising Cosmetics believe that our customer base deserves to have clarity regarding the inconvenience.

When Rachel Clinesmith founded Vampyre Cosmetics (2019), now Phoenix Rising Cosmetics (2024), she did so with the desire to make unique, pop culture inspired cosmetics inclusive and accessible to everyone. The company was founded by, and remains driven by, queer, disabled, and POC staff members. Ethics are not merely a concept we print on labels, but a fundamental component of our business practices. As demonstrated by our cancellation of Alice Cooper’s partnership due to transphobic statements, we are unafraid to put integrity first, in the interest of not only our staff, but you, our diverse customer base.

When our company mission is challenged, we are quick to defend it. In 2023, a former co-business owner who joined the company in 2022, began to display concerning behavior that was deeply misaligned with who we are as an establishment. It became clear that this individual had misrepresented themselves upon joining our team. This former co-business owner was observed making racist, misogynistic, ableist, and body shaming statements both to and around our staff members, and in front of customers at events. Our CEO, Rachel, responded to this and other destructive behavior expeditiously, and began the legal process of severing ties with this part owner.

Thankfully, Phoenix Rising Cosmetics has successfully cut all ties to this individual, and Rachel Clinesmith has fought tirelessly to ensure that our mission to serve you, our client base, is represented appropriately by our administrators. However, this lengthy legal process has presented complications that have contributed to the delays in shipping dates, as this individual had to be fully legally and functionally severed from the company and its accounts, which resulted in accounts being moved, renamed, or reissued. Rachel has secured full control of the company and we are very grateful to have the support of both our customers and the major brands we’ve partnered with while undergoing these changes. Delivering customer orders as quickly as possible is always our highest priority.

We have adjusted for the inconveniences and have provided updated shipping estimation for the following products (Updated Dates Here). We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding as we fight to maintain the philosophy of inclusivity and accessibility that we were founded on. Phoenix Rising Cosmetics will always prioritize supporting only businesses and individuals that align with our values for the safety of our customers, our communities and ourselves. You may have noticed that we are no longer doing business as Vampyre Cosmetics, a name associated with the former business partner in question. Our new title, Phoenix Rising Cosmetics, was introduced to reinforce our enduring mission.

We don’t sell “beauty”, we believe that beauty is in everyone. We create makeup as a tool for self expression, designed to be free of marginalizing beauty standards or gender roles. We do pre-sales in order to gauge interest in different launches and to ensure there’s enough products to meet demand. We manufacture in small batches to preserve quality & as a result we have been able to take on IPs that the big companies won’t because they don’t think they have a large enough fan base. We create products around & for fandoms as that we ourselves are a part of and that is what makes what we do different. Sometimes, these are philosophies that have to be fought for, and we appreciate your support as we recover from the inconveniences produced by the lawsuit. We are excited to continue our journey with our customer base, providing products that validate you, your passions, and identities. We are working hard to provide updated details regarding shipping dates and cannot wait for these products to be in your hands. As always, your feedback is deeply valued, and we are happy to address any questions or concerns you may have via our dedicated customer service department at Support@MythosisBrands.com
