We are proudly indigenous owned, women owned (WBENC Certified), disabled owned and LGBT+ owned. Our products are Vegan, Cruelty Free (Leaping Bunny Certified) and Talc Free. We received a lot of media attention for our decision to cancel our Licensed Collection with Alice Cooper over his anti-trans comments in the press. We very much believe in walking the walk not just talking to talk when it comes to making ethical business decisions and being transparent with our customer base.

We strive to be a “beauty disruptor”, renouncing social constructs of beauty and replacing them with individual ones. We don't Sell "Beauty", we believe beauty is in everyone. We merely provide tools for the expression of it. We believe no one should have to choose between unique, inspired packaging and high quality, ethical cosmetics, so we are committed to being all in one. Our officially licensed collections are a huge hit because they made by the fans for the fans.

Meet the Team

Who is behind the scenes here? The short answer is, a lot of people. We can't create cool makeup for the fans like we do without a lot of help. We are a family run business and support other family oriented women owned, queer & neurodivergent entrepreneurs whenever possible.

Rachel Clinesmith is Vampyre Cosmetics LLC & Phoenix Rising Cosmetics LLC CEO.

Batty Goth is our lead designer/product developer.

Joseph Keens handles our quality control and oversees manufacturing.

Logan Boese handles a lot of our copy writing and in person sales at events.

Catherine Boese is our customer service manager.

3plg is our women owned and run shipping & fulfillment company out of New Jersey.

Evestar is our women owned and run Paid Social Media Advertising Team.

We contract with a number of women owned PR companies for press releases & media coverage.

We have a team that handles our retail support and training with over 23 years of experience on both the buyer and brand side.

We also work with a number of other (mostly women owned businesses or contractors) that handle our finances, bookkeeping and legal needs.

Rachel Clinesmith

has been designing cosmetics for a number independent brands since 2011 and founded Vampyre Cosmetics in 2019 & Phoenix Rising Cosmetics at the beginning of 2024.

Brittney Murdoch

is a SCAD graduate and absolutely brilliant product & packaging designer. Brittney designed and managed the launches of Vampyre Cosmetic’s Bill & Ted, Living Dead Dolls, Space Invaders, Oregon Trail and D&D.

Joseph Keens

has a background working in various aspects of manufacturing and is responsible for the development and refinement of manufacturing the 3D printed tentacle brushes Rachel designed and oversees quality control and compliance.

Logan Boese

is a talented Indigenous Writer & Salesperson who has worked to develop several global brands in the gaming industries and managed in person sales at hundreds of trade shows since 2011.
